Accel Frontline chosen as Sun's Strategic Regional Partner

Launch joint-operations in Coimbatore, Trichy and Thiruvanathapuram.

Accel Frontline Ltd has been chosen by Sun Microsystems as its Strategic Regional Partner for Tamil Nadu and Kerala in addition to being an Enterprise Partner in India. As part of its next phase of growth strategy for India, SUN has launched its operations in Coimbatore, Trichy, Madurai and Thiruvanathapuram. As Sun's Strategic Regional Partner, Accel Frontline Ltd will represent Sun in these regions

Kingston Technology Corporation, the world's largest independent memory module manufacturer, has announced a comprehensive product warranty and support policy for its market leading DRAM, Flash and Personal Media Players products in India. Accel Frontline Limited, which is offering warranty outsource services with over 36 offices in 34 cities and 100 Service locations in India, has been appointed by Kingston Technology Corporation to manage the Kingston support and service program on an end-to-end basis for its customers in India. Accel Frontline Limited, an Information Techology services provider specializing in consulting, infrastructure, applications, outsourcing and support services, proposes to enter the capital market on 28th September 2006 with an IPO of 5,635,950 equity shares of Rs.10 each through 100% book building process in the price band of Rs 75 to Rs 90 The issue closes on 5th October 2006. The issue would constitute 25.04% of the fully diluted post issue paid-up capital of the company. SBI Capital Markets Ltd. is the BRLM and Bajaj Capital Ltd. is the co-BRLM for the issue and Intime Spectrum Registry Ltd. is the registrar. The equity shares are proposed to be listed on the NSE and BSE.

The public issue comprises of a fresh issue of 5,175,667 equity shares by Accel Frontline Ltd. and an offer for sale of 460,283 equity shares by Intel Pacific, INC. 50% of the offer to the Public shall be allocated on a proportionate basis to Qualified Institutional Buyers (“QIBs”), out of which 5% will be available for allocation to mutual funds registered with Securities and Exchange Board of India (“SEBI”) and the remaining QIB portion shall be available for allocation to the QIB bidders including mutual funds, subject to valid bids being received at or above the Issue Price. Further, atleast 15% of the offer to the public shall be available for allocation on a proportionate basis to Non-Institutional Bidders and at least 35% of the offer to the public shall be available for allocation on a proportionate basis to Retail Individual Bidders, subject to valid bids being received at or above the Issue Price.

Accel Frontline Ltd. proposes to invest net proceeds of the issue to fund regional and global expansion plans and acquire and invest in strategic businesses. It also has plans to expand and improve its ESS and BPO infrastructure. The company’s total income for the year ended 31st March 2006 touched Rs.1,704.29 million and PAT at Rs 97.11million as against total income of Rs. 1,368.18 million and PAT of Rs. 42.16 million for the previous year.

The Company was started as Accel Automation Private Limited in the year 1991. It commenced operations by providing multi – vendor services for computers systems and repair services and it reorganized itself as Accel ICIM Systems and Services Limited in 2000 after it acquired the systems and engineering services division of Fujitsu ICIM Ltd. In 2004, the Company forged a strategic alliance with Singapore–based Frontline Technologies Corporation Limited, and entered into joint venture between the Company and Frontline and changed the name to Accel ICIM Frontline Limited. The name was subsequently changed to Accel Frontline Limited with effect from November 3, 2005 to reflect the new direction to adopt the business model of Frontline in IT Infrastructure Solutions and Services.

IT Infrastructure Management Services remains the core business of the company. The business also includes system integration, facilities management, software services and outsourcing. IT infrastructure management services contributes about 30% of the total service turnover of the Company as of March 31, 2006. Global IT-ITES spending is projected to grow at a CAGR of more than 7% over 2005-09. Aggregate IT spends, comprising amounts spent on hardware; software and IT services are forecast to grow at a CAGR of 6% over the same period. Spending on ITES-BPO is expected to grow significantly faster, at a CAGR of more than 10%, over the same period.

Accel Frontline Limited to Provide School ERP Solution to GEMS Schools, a part of The Varkey Group

Accel Frontline Limited, the Chennai headquartered IT services company announced the signing of their strategic partnership agreement with the Dubai based GEMS Education, a part of the Varkey Group, the leading provider of education and healthcare services, to develop and implement School Management ERP Solutions for GEMS Schools, worldwide.

Under the agreement signed with GEMS Education, Accel Frontline will commence the relationship with the implementation of “Accel Prodigy”, their flagship school ERP system, in 35 GEMS owned and managed schools across the UAE and the UK, over the next 12 Months.

“Prodigy” is a proprietary product developed by Accel and has already been implemented in many schools in the Middle East and the Far East regions. GEMS Education completed the pilot implementation of “Prodigy” in two schools in Dubai, as the last part of their vendor evaluation process, before finalizing the contract with Accel Frontline Ltd.

The contract between GEMS Education and Accel envisages that Accel will develop a new generation school management system incorporating several technology and feature advancements with the help of GEMS. This new software will be co-branded as GEMS Prodigy and will be implemented in all the GEMS Schools in the future.
