N R Panicker

N.R.Panicker is the visionary behind Accel Group. When everybody cherish to become a top executive in a corporate company after completing professional education, Panicker quit his well-paid job at the peak of his career in 1991 to setup his own company in a humble way with a group of 5 professionals who worked with him and a vision to create one of India’s most respected IT Services Company. In a span of 20 years he has moulded Accel into an institution that is currently employing over 4000 professionals operating from 7 countries. A professional to the core, he attributes his success to the initial training and experience he had while working for HCL Group for over 14 years and his ability to see a big picture of every situation.

N.R.Panicker is a graduate engineer from CET, Trivandrum of the 1976 batch. Apart from being a mentor and CEO for Accel, he is active in professional organizations such as TiE, Nasscom, CII and several charity organizations. Accel Charities Foundation, which he founded in 2011 focuses on education for the poor and geriatric care.

K R Chandrasekharan
Director and CFO

A Chartered Accountant with over 30 years experience in the IT, engineering and finance industries with reputed groups such as Tata, HCL and TVS. As Chief Financial Officer of Accel Frontline Ltd, he is entrusted with the job of successfully adding real value to the organization by providing dependable strategic leadership, a consistent financial perspective, and an active contribution to critical management decisions.

Maqbool Hassan
President and Head
IT Infrastructure Services

Maqbool Hassan is responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of Accel Frontline’s sales, marketing, and services organization in India and the Middle East. Maqbool has been with Accel since its inception and has played a pivotal role in the organization’s evolution into an end-to-end Enterprise IT Solutions Provider. His ability to drive growth and his proven track record to nurture and acquire new businesses makes Maqbool the backbone of the infrastructure business of the company.

Maqbools’ leadership, technology insight and operational expertise have strengthened Accel Frontline’s culture of customer focused value-creation, expanded Accel Frontline into new markets, and extended its product portfolio and global reach. His thorough knowledge of market trends and technology developments enables a highly competent market engagement framework for Accel Frontline Limited.

Maqbool graduated in Electronics and Communications Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Calicut in 1986 and holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management. Prior to Accel Maqbool worked with HCL Ltd.

Philip John
President and Head
Software Services

Mr. Philip John is currently the President of the Software Division of Accel Frontline Ltd offering Business Software and Technology Software solutions. Prior to this assignment, he successfully guided the Technologies Division of Accel Transmatic Ltd. (another group company in Accel group) on a growth path and did business with Fortune 500 companies in USA, Europe, Israel and Japan. He is also in the director board of Accel Transmatic Ltd. Technologies division focused on development of Embedded Systems and software for Technology verticals like Consumer Electronics, Automotive and Telecom.

He embarked on entrepreneurship in 2000 and was Managing Director and co-founder of Ushus Technologies (p) Ltd., which merged into Accel Transmatic Ltd in 2005. Before 2000, he was the President & Chief Operating Officer of NeST, a CMM Level 5 company in Technopark, Trivandrum. He has around 34 years of wide ranging experience in technology development and management.

He did his graduation in Electronics & Communication from College of Engg., Trivandrum in 1976 and later did his M.Tech from IIT, Madras. He started his career with Keltron and then moved over to ER &DC, Trivandrum. He was with ER&DC (Currently CDAC) till 1995, before switching over to Private Sector. He has presented papers in different technical forums in the country. He is also involved in activities of professional bodies and was vice-chairman of the IEEE Kerala section in 2004.

R.Ganesh
President and Head
Warranty Management Services

R.Ganesh is the Director and Head of Warranty Management Services at Accel Frontline Services Limited. He is responsible for end to end warranty support and total customer satisfaction for MNC and OEM products.

Ganesh is a founder member of Accel and has played an important role in the organization’s growth into warranty management and repair solutions. His ability to adapt to the diversified needs of the Principals placed Accel as a leader in Warranty Management Business and helped him to acquire contracts from many MNCs.

Ganesh’s customer oriented approach has helped the organization to create a online CRM and Inventory management software which is capable of performing multiple business process that meets the service delivery model of any Principal. Under his able leadership the organization has created a Authorised Service Partner network to extend the service reach to over 400 cities. Today Accel is a leading Neutral service partner with national presence and the Warranty Management Services division is ISO9000 Certified.

Ganesh has done his Diploma in Electrical Engineering from Murugappa Polytechnic, Avadi, Chennai in 1981. Ganesh was employed in MRF Ltd., for 3 years as a Supervisor and worked in HCL Limited, Chennai for 5 years as repair centre manager prior to the inception of Accel.

Mr. Ramanujam
Sr.Vice President
Corporate Affairs

Mr. Ramanujam is the head of “ Corporate Affairs “ at Accel Frontline Limited, with particular focus on HR.

He is a Post Graduate in Statistics from Madras Christian College and a Post Graduate in Business Administration. Mr. Ramanujam also holds CAIIB, an examination on banking .

Mr. Ramanujam started his career with Canara Bank in the year 1975 where he worked for more than three decades specialising in Corporate Planning, Goal Setting, Competitor Analysis, Performance Budgeting and Strategic Planning. Mr. Ramanujam was the Managing Director of Canbank Investment Management Services Limited, the AMC of Canbank Mutual Fund between 2002 and 2006. During the period , the Fund witnessed significant growth in Assets Under Management and strengthened the core areas like Fund Management, Compliance, Risk Management and Investor Services.

Prior to joining Accel , Mr. Ramanujam was Vice President with TAIB BANK, an Investment Bank in Bahrain, heading the FII operations and investments in India.
